The National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress APC, Dayo Israel has congratulated Abiodun Ayobami Oyebanji on his flawless victory in the just-concluded governorship election in Ekiti State.
The youth leader in a congratulatory message on Twitter on Sunday noted that the votes garnered “show that people still believe strongly in the APC.”
He used the opportunity to thank the people of Ekiti State for keeping faith with their Governor His Excellency Kayode Fayemi, and the All Progressives Congress (APC), adding that “the people know the person and party that truly serves them, and have spoken in clear voice and unmistakable terms.”
Dayo Israel also appreciated the electorate in Ekiti State for comporting themselves decently and in order, and for exhibiting conduct that indicates that the country is making progress in its electoral behaviour.
He also gave kudos to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for organising a credible, free and fair election, and to security agencies which ensured that orderliness was enthroned and maintained.
“We shall be magnanimous in victory, work together, channel the same energy to Osun which is next, come out victorious and then move into 2023 general elections with full confidence,” Hon. Dayo Israel said.
