The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), says it has opened an investigation into the death of Ms Greatness Olorunfemi, who was thrown out of a moving vehicle by criminal elements on September 26 2023 along Maitama-Kubwa highway in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
It was alleged with evidence that good Samaritans rushed Ms. Olorunfemi to Maitama general hospital but was rejected by the hospital staff who requested for a police report.
The Executive Vice Chairman of FCCPC, Mr. Babatunde Irukera, on behalf of the Commission commiserates with the family, friends and associates of the deceased.
The Commission said it is engaging relevant stakeholders including the office of the Mandate Security for Health Services and Environment for the Federal Capital Territory to launch an inquiry into the incident that led to the death of Ms. Olorunfemi.
