Galatasaray were unable to capitalise on their numerical advantage and Weston McKennie headed in eight minutes from the end. 3-0!

Juventus forced the tie into the extra 30 minutes and looked to have the upper hand. However, two extra-time goals from Galatasaray sealed progression, after the hosts came agonisingly close to pulling off a great escape despite playing with 10 men.
Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen struck at the end of the first half of extra time with an accurately placed finish to make the scores 3-1.

Galatasaray’s Baris Alper Yilmaz then netted late on to shatter the hopes of Juventus and their fans as the match finished 3-2 in favour of Juventus.
However, the Turkish side progressed with a 7-5 aggregate victory.
