Gaza: UN Says Seven Water Facilities hit, damaged
UN Relief Agency has confirmed that seven water facilities in the Gaza Strip were “directly hit and sustained major damage” on Saturday and Sunday.
According to UNOCHA’s latest update, two water wells in Rafah, three sewage pipelines in Gaza City and two water reservoirs were all damaged.
The Gaza municipality has warned of the imminent risk of sewage flooding.
On Saturday, a video emerged of water running down a street after a water tank in Tal Al Zaatar in Northern Gaza was damaged.
