The Concerned Taraba Youth Group has called on Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State to join the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to secure greater federal support for the state’s development.

Leader of the group, Mr. Shadrach Gani, made the appeal while briefing journalists in Jalingo on Saturday.

He said “aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda would enable Taraba to benefit from critical federal projects that could transform its economy, create jobs, and improve infrastructure.”

According to him, “the state faces challenges that require strong federal partnership, including the abandoned Ibi Bridge, the collapsed Namnai Bridge, dilapidated federal highways such as the Jalingo-Lau-Karim Lamido road, and the stalled Mambilla Hydro Power Project.”

Mr. Gani commended Governor Kefas for reforms in education, healthcare, and youth empowerment, but stressed that “joining the APC would provide direct access to federal resources and projects needed to accelerate Taraba’s growth and prosperity.”
