The Cross River State office of the National Health Insurance Authority, NHIA, has awarded prizes of outstanding performance to two of its staff, Mrs. Moffi Glory Agbo, and Ms Odey Anita Ogeyi.
The awards were given to the best Frontline Desk and Best Outsourced Service Staff during the agency, 2023 Customer Service Week.
Speaking at the ceremony the NHIA State Coordinator, Mr. Stanley Effah emphasized the importance of enrollee’s satisfaction as the bedrock to the existence of NHIA.
Mr Effah spoke about the collaborative tendency of team service customer satisfaction and loyalty.
He applauded the commitment of all staff of Cross River State NHIA office; particularly the outsourced service staff who are not currently covered under the NHIA programmes.
According to Mr. Effah, “the award for the Best Outsourced Staff was also inclusive of a reward of benefit of social health insurance enrollment, under the individual category plan of N45,00 in the Group Individual & Family Social Health Insurance Programme of NHIA called GIFSHIP; which would cover the recipient of the award and her two biological children.”
Describing the awardee as the best-outsourced staff and a cleaner, Mr. Effah said: “Ms. Odey Anita Ogeyi is the epitome of a hard-working mother who deserves to be appreciated and rewarded by the CRS NHIA office.”
” In unequivocal terms, she is indispensable, salient and collaborative by her role with the mop stick in the provision of quality service to our customers or enrollees which has aptly reflected on the 2023 customer service theme “Team Service,” Mr. Effah said.
He said that” the awardees mop stick is as important as our front desk customer relation, as we are all in the same space to provide quality service to our esteemed customers, or enrollees.”
In her response, Ms Odey Anita Ogeyi who won Best Outsourced Service CRS NHIA staff, said she wasn’t expecting the award.
“I didn’t expect this award of health insurance cover for myself and my children. I thought I was just coming to receive the usual kind of parceled occasion gift I know. It’s amazing to be recognized and rewarded with what a citizen of Nigeria like myself had ever hoped for. Health is wealth. Thank you so much NHIA Cross River office,” she said.
Others rewarded at the occasion were, Mr. Orok Edet, President Enrolles Association of Health Insurance in Nigeria, who was specially recognized for the initiative to birth a platform, exclusively designed to troubleshoot the myriad of NHIA enrollees challenges, and by collaborating with the Crosss River State NHIA office in doing so.
