Italian Serie A club Inter Milan have completed the signing of 18-year-old Nigerian midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, from Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Remo Stars on a four-year contract.
Akinsanmiro, who is an academy product of Remo Stars, helped the Ogun State based team gain promotion from the Nigeria National League to the NPFL in the 2020/2021 season.

“Everyone at Remo Stars wishes him all the best during his time with Inter Milan,” Remo Stars said on its website.
Most notably, Akinsanmiro featured for the academy team, Beyond Limits in The Creative Championship and Viareggio Cup World Football Tournament.

He also featured in the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
The teenager joins the list of Nigerians such as Taiye Taiwo, Christian Obodo, Obinna Nsofor, Seyi Olajengbesi and Ederson Echiejile to have earned a move one of the top 5 European Leagues from the Nigeria Professional League (NPFL).
