It was goals galore rocks on Day 3 of the Kebbi State Beach Soccer League (KBSL) was filled with lots of intriguing moments as Magatakarda BSC and Bam Project BSC claimed victories in their matches.
Magatakarda BSC picked up its second win of the first round as they pounced on Marshal Academy BSC in a 10-goal thriller with the score ending 7-3 in favour of Magatakarda BSC, while Haliyu Labalaba was voted the man of the match.
Bam Projects BSC came back to life after falling in their second game as they dispatched Real Sand Stars BSC by 3 goals to nil.
In other games of the day, BBE BSC traded tackles with Illayasu Sports BSC, thrilling spectators and making them sit on the edge of their chairs as each team dazzled with goals to force the game into extra time after the game finished 6-6 in the regulation time of 3 periods, producing the first extra time of the 22/23 KSBSL season.
It was BBE BSC who finally nicked the winner in extra time to end the game by 7 goals to 6 as Abubakar Yahaya was voted the Man of the Match.
The last match of the day saw Atiku Bagudu BSC settling the scores between them and Abdu Hassan Kalgo BSC 4-3 on penalties, after both sides could not find a winner during the regulation time and extra time.
Action continues on Monday with Illayasu Sports BSC taking on Real Sand Stars BSC, before Atiku Bagudu BSC battle Marshal Academy BSC.
