The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos state, South-west Nigeria, has welcomed another group of defectors from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party for Lagos state, Azeez Olajide Adeniran, was on hand to receive the former members of the APC, inducting them into the PDP with the assistance of party officials.

“For them it is more important to be on the right side of history and contributing their quota to true nation-building.
“I urge others who are on the fence to follow their example and show courage, show up to exercise their civil rights and begin to preach the message of ‘a breath of fresh air’.
“One person is enough to change our collective circumstances,” said Azeez.
