The Nigerian Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Pantami has led the country’s delegation to Mobile World Congress, MWC 2022 taking place in Barcelona, Spain.
The MWC provides a platform for political leaders, regulatory heads, technology experts and industry executives from around the world to debate the issues and steer a course towards economic recovery and a digitally inclusive world.
On the sideline of the tech gathering, the Nigerian Minister held strategic meetings with his counterparts from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Gambia and representatives of SpaceX.
One of the core areas that drive Digital Economy is partnerships.
The Galaxy Backbone and Huawei also signed an MOU at the ongoing Mobile World Congress to enhance Digital transformation.
Among the delegation include, the Executive Vice Chair of Nigerian Communications Commission, Professor Umar Danbatta , Managing Director Galaxy Backbone Limited Professor Muhammad Bello Abubakar and the Executive Governor Borno State Professor Babagana Umara Zulum among others.
