The Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Abdullahi Saleh Usman has signed service agreements with two Saudi-based firms as part of preparations for the 2026 Hajj exercise.
The contracts were signed with Mashariq Dhahabiyya, which will provide services at Masha’ir, and Daleel Al Muaalem that will handle transportation for Nigerian pilgrims throughout the Hajj period.

The signing took place during a preparatory meeting in Saudi Arabia, attended by the Commissioner of Operations, Prince Anofiu Elegushi; NAHCON Board Member representing Jammatul Nasril Islam (JNI), Professor Musa Fodio; and the Chairman of the Forum of State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards (SMPWB), Alhaji Idris Almakura.

Professor Usman explained that “the firms were retained because of their performance during the last Hajj.”

“The two companies delivered excellent services to the pilgrims last Hajj, which is why they are being selected again this year. However, they must do more for the guests of Ar-Rahman,” he said.

The 2025 Hajj operation, conducted under the leadership of Professor Usman, was described as highly successful, a record that NAHCON says gives confidence of another smooth operation in 2026.
