Nasarawa State NNPP condemns attack on its candidate

The Leadership of the New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP, Nasarawa state chapter has condemned in strong terms the attack by unknown gunmen on their House of Assembly candidate from Doma South Hon. Musa Ibrahim.
Speaking during a press conference in Lafia the state capital, the deputy chairman, Southern zone, Yusuf Ahmed said the attack is uncalled for.
The state leadership called on the Nasarawa state government, police, and other security operatives to as matter of urgency investigate and bring the culprits to face the wrath of the law.
“Consequently, we are calling on security agencies to provide our candidates with security to safeguard their lives”, he said
“The New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP would no longer condone such barbaric attacks on any of its members”, he added
Musa Ibrahim was, Former commissioner of Environment and Natural resources in the present government before he defected to the New Nigeria People’s Party.
