The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 301 new COVID-19 cases across the country.
NCDC made the announcement in its daily update on the virus.
In the agency’s latest update, the cases were reported in 10 states of the federation.
Lagos state records the highest with 175 cases, Ondo-42, Osun-23, Rivers-21, Nasarawa-16, Oyo-8, Gombe-7, Kaduna-7, FCT-1, Kano-1.
According to NCDC, it says,
“Today’s report includes: 175 additional cases reported from Lagos State for 1st – 15th January.
“Backlog of deaths reported from Lagos State.
“0 cases reported from Abia, Bauchi, Plateau, and Sokoto States.”
With the latest report, 250,929 cases have been confirmed, 224,052 people discharged and 3,103 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
