Nigeria Set For ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour
The Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF) is set to host the ICC Men’s World Cup Trophy once again with the trophy expected to tour the cities of Abuja and Lagos later this month.
Although Nigeria will not be participating in the World Cup, scheduled for in India in 2023, the idea to tour the country for the second time in 4 years is a reflection of the tremendous growth and development of the sport in Nigeria at both the local and international stages.

For this year’s trophy tour, the mandate from the ICC is to reflect the huge traditional and cultural heritage of the African continent.
The trophy will be displayed in Abuja on August 29th and Lagos on August 30th, 2023.
