The President, Nigerian Gas Association (NGA), Mr Ed Ubong, has presented the Group Managing Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, #NNPC, Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari, with the Association’s “Special Recognition Award for Outstanding Support to the NGA”.
The NGA President also presented the Association’s “Ultimate Gas Promoter of the Year Award” conferred on the NNPC boss for his notable contribution to the Oil and Gas Industry. The awards were announced at the #NGAConference held earlier this year in February.
“We’re happy that the Nigerian Gas Association is recognizing what the NNPC is doing (in the area of gas).
“At the NNPC, we know that the right direction to go is to deepen domestic gas monetization. We’re focused on this and we’re happy it’s paying off,” Kyari said in response to the gesture.
