Ahead of the commencement of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, Kwara United coach Kabir Dogo has assured football loving Kwarans of his team’s readiness to work hard to avoid putting the club in a tight corner as experienced last season.

Dogo, who spoke to sports writers at the final of the 1st Elado Football Competition, said that recruitment of the best players and their continued encouragement and motivation by the management are the ingredients for the club to bring back it’s lost glory.

“Best legs and motivation is what we need in the team next season,” Dogo said.I believe in the ability of the management to recruit quality players ahead of the League and we will continue to make Kwarans happy again.”

Coach Dogo advocated for the reintroduction of feeder team for the club as an avenue to monitor and nurture talents discovered from various organised grassroots football competitions in the state. Dogo believes it will serve as an avenue for the recruitment of players into the main team.

“Some of the players discovered and Identified from this competition cannot just break into the main team of Kwara United,” Dogo added.

“If there is a feeder team, they can be closely monitored and tutored pending the time they will make their debut in the main team.”

He appreciated various stakeholders for their unwavering support towards the team to avert relegation, noting that their genuine love, passion and prayers for the club paved way for maintaining its NPFL Status.
