The governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in Oyo State, Tawfiq Tayo Akinwale (TTA), has congratulated his People’s Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Governor Seyi Makinde, on his re-election.
Governor Makinde was declared winner on Sunday afternoon after polling the highest number of votes in the ballot cast.
Akinwale, in a message he personally signed, charged Makinde to remember the local government areas and do more for the people of the state at the rural level.
He urged Makinde not to rule out making use of developmental ideas from other contenders for the position since everyone was particular about good governance that offers the people dividends of democracy.
