PDP National Chairman Applauds Governor Tambuwal For Remarkable Projects

The National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus has commended the Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, for executing various projects that have direct impact on the lives of the citizenry.
Secondus while describing Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal as a visionary leader whom the PDP is proud of, noted on his inspection tour along with the members of the party’s National Working Committee that projects like the Sokoto State University Teaching Hospital, (SOSUTH) when completed, will not only serve the people of Sokoto State but the entire North-West geo-political zone, the nation at large and even the neighbouring countries.
The NWC inspected the ongoing construction of SOSUTH and Government Girls Science Academy, Kasarawa. The committee also inspected the completed Advanced Diagnosis Center and the on-going 500 Housing Estate at Gidan Salanke.
Other projects the party bigwigs inspected includes the General Hospital, Wamakko, the dualisation of intra-city Maituta and Waziri Abbas roads in the state capital.
Pointing out the SOSUTH project, the PDP Chairman said: “this is one of the best project the PDP can showcase in the country.”
Girl child education
Also speaking at Government Girls Science Academy under construction, the PDP National Women Leader, Hajiya Mariya Waziri Gwandu, thanked the Governor for improving girl-child education, just as she commended him for allowing the participation of women in the governance of the state.
Speaking earlier at the flag off of the dualisation of Tashar Illela to Achida Junction, Governor Tambuwal said the rehabilitation of the road became necessary as the road linked many local government areas in the state.
He also explained that it is a strategic one that links Nigeria and Niger Republic, stating that when completed it will ease business activities in the state, Nigeria and Niger Republic.
Tambuwal added that the contract was awarded at the cost of N2.8 billion with a completion timeframe of 9 months.
The Governor added that if completed the road will boost the volume of trade between Nigeria and Niger Republic.
