President Buhari reappoints conservator-General National Park Service

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the renewal tenure of Dr Ibrahim Goni as the Conservator-General of the National Park Service for another five years.
A statement signed by Director Press Federal Ministry of Environment, Mr. Saghir el Mohammed said the new appointment which serves as second tenure for Goni takes effect from May 10, 2022.
Minister of Environment, Mr. Mohammed Abdullahi who conveyed the Presidential approval in a letter dated May 19, 2022, congratulated Dr Goni and wished him more fruitful tenure in office.
“Your appointment is in accordance with the provisions of Section 171 (2d) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended)”. The Minister stated.
Dr. Goni was first appointed as Conservator-General of the National Park Service in April, 2017.
