Super Eagles Return After Costa Rica Friendly

Super Eagles of Nigeria returned back home on Saturday night after a gallant display against the Men’s National football team of Costa Rica, in an International Friendly match at the Estadio Nacional in San Jose, Costa Rica.

The team touched down at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja, aboard Turkish Airline.

The Super Eagles home based team of Nigeria and officials, at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja.

Despite Thursday’s 2-0 loss, the team — made up of home based players — put up an impressive performance against the World Cup bound Central American nation.

A team of 18 players and officials led by Coach Salisu Yusuf were received at the Airport by officials of  Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) at the airport.

The players and officials and are expected to return to their various destinations.
