The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State has taken steps to address complaints arising from the just concluded ward congresses and to reconcile members of the party ahead of the 2023 elections.
Alhaji Ahmad Abdulmalik, Chairman of the Taraba APC Appeal Panel, who spoke at the stakeholders meeting said the team was in the state to officially receive complaints arising from the conduct of the ward congresses in the state.
According to him, APC was growing stronger in Taraba because of the calibre of persons the party had in the State, adding that the party would do everything to unite members ahead of the 2023 elections.
“I want to first of all call for understanding among party members. We must unite to move the party forward.
“We have come to hear your complaints and find a way forward to help the party win the Governorship seat in the State in 2023.
“With the calibre of persons we have in the APC here in Taraba, our victory come 2023 is assured,” he said.

Earlier, Caretaker Chairman of the party in Taraba State, Alhaji Ibrahim El-Suldi said the committee was in the state to listen to complaints from aggrieved members who were not satisfied with the outcome of the ward congresses recently conducted in the state.
El-Suldi announced that a register has been opened at the party’s secretariat in Jalingo to receive complaints from aggrieved members of the party.
The Chairman advised the party members to work collectively towards victory for the party so that there would be a lot of positions of responsibility for them.
