Governor Soludo Mourns Passing of Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, General Lagbaja

The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Army Staff of Nigeria, at the age of 56.
Governor Soludo, in a condolence message released through his Press Secretary Christian Aburime, extended his heartfelt condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian Army, and the family of General Lagbaja on this tragic loss.
Describing General Lagbaja’s death as a significant blow to the Nigerian Army and the nation, Governor Soludo praised the late General for his distinguished military career and unwavering dedication to national security.
A graduate of the prestigious U.S. Army War College, General Lagbaja’s leadership in various military roles, including critical internal security operations, showcased his tactical skill and commitment to Nigeria’s peace and stability.
Governor Soludo concluded by praying for the eternal repose of General Lagbaja’s soul and for comfort for his grieving family.
