The Nigerian Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI) has expressed its willingness to partner with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in building public trust and confidence in the extractive sector.
The Executive Secretary of NEITI, @DrOrjiOOrji, disclosed this on Tuesday during a courtesy visit to the Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari.
Discussions centred on strengthening the existing collaboration between the two agencies in the area of transparency and accountability.
“We are here to pledge our support and are ready, willing and available to work with you and your team to build public trust and confidence in the extractive sector,” said @DrOrjiOOrji.

Receiving the @nigeriaeiti Management, the NNPC boss, Mele Kolo Kyari, said ,

“We shall continue to uphold the #EITI Principles in our quest to deliver value to our shareholders,”
