Nigeria’s Wizkid receives five new platinum certifications in South Africa

Nigerian Megastar Wizkid, has received a total of five new platinum certifications in South Africa, once again showing his dominance as one of the biggest Afrobeats artist.

The multiple award-winning singer has once again shown his relevance and dominance in Afrobeats, as it has been confirmed that the singer received a total of five new certifications in South Africa with his music.

The singer received five platinum certifications for songs released off one of his biggest projects to date, Made In Lagos. The hit song Essence is now certified platinum for the seventh time, and his collaboration Ginger, which features Burna Boy, is two times certified platinum, with other songs, No Stress, Longtime (ft Skepta) and True Love, receiving their first platinum certification each.

This is not the first set of certifications the singer would receive this week, as he had initially received three new certifications from Belgium.

Fans are super excited as to if Wiz has something planned for fans as we approach the final months of 2023. The singer is known for his special surprises, and we are certain we might just be getting one soon.
