President Bola Tinubu on Thursday met with Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State at the State House, Abuja.
The meeting, which was held behind closed doors, lasted close to an hour.
Reason for the meeting was not made public but it was assumed it touched on the security situation in Plateau State, especially the recent wave of attacks in Mangu Local Government Area of the State.
When approached by Journalists at the end of the meeting, Governor Mutfwang said “My meeting with the President was very private therefore; I will not like to grant an interview on that.”
Governor Caleb Mutfwang took over the reins of leadership in Plateau State on May 29, 2023 and this is the first private meeting he is holding with the Nigerian Leader at the State House.
