President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently presiding over the Federal Executive Council meeting at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.
Vice President Kashim Shettima is not attending the meeting following his participation in the commissioning and naming of a $315 million oil production and storage facility in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
The two ministers of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar and the Minister of State, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, were not also present at the council meeting. The council meeting on Monday seems to be the final Executive Council meeting of 2024.
Present are the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, the Head of Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack; as well as other members of the Council.
