The former Governor of Sokoto State and Senator representing Sokoto North Senatorial District, Senator Aliyu Wamakko has condoled the families of those who lost their lives in a tragic incident on wednesday, 13th of April.
Senator Wamakko also donated N3.1 million naira to the families of 29 victims in Magana village of Shagari local government area of the state.

According to him, the tragedy was only the will of God which is inevitable.
“Though, the tragedy is painful that 29 person all died in a single day and we cannot do anything.
“Hence Allah’s wish is always unquestionable and best for us,” Senator Wamakko said.
He also extended his heartfelt condolence to people of the village and their Head, Malam Muhammadu Auwal, who lost five of his children in the mishap.
Senator Wamakko prays for repose of the souls of the departed persons and divine comfort to grieving families.
A special prayer was observed during the condolence seeking Allah’s forgiveness for the deceased and sustainable peace across the country.
It would be recalled that a boat carrying many people trying to cross a river in Magana village of Shagari local government area of Sokoto State mishap on Wednesday last week the 13th of April which claimed 29 lives including young men and children.
