World Cup 2022: Switzerland Overpowers Cameroon In Opening Match

Switzerland defeats Cameroon in the ongoing World Cup 2022, Group G.

The game started by 11 am Nigerian time. Cameroon who missed all their scoring chances started impressively early enough in pushing the Swiss radically but could not convert any of the opportunity.

They missed their first chance at the 10th minute after the swiss goal keeper blocked the ball and another Cameroonian kicked the ball high above the post.

And Cameroon narrowly escaped a goal from swiss striker after an offside was awarded at the 22th minute against Switzerland.

Then Cameroon also missed another golden opportunity to score at the 24th minute.

The match ended goalless in the first half.

Two minutes into the second half the Switzerland’s striker, Breel Embolo scored the opening goal to take the lead.

Finally the game ended after full time in favour of Switzerland.
