The founder, Africa’s Future Empowerment Conference, AFEC has identified patriotism as the missing link in Nigeria’s socio political sphere to build positive image globally.
Rudolf Brenyah made this known in Lagos during the maiden edition of AFEC in Nigeria.
Mr. Brenyah reiterated the need for Nigerians to start believing in their country and join hands to get it developed faster.
Driving Force
According to him, the push to draw the best out of the people of Africa and help them reach their full potential was the driving force that propelled him to starting the Africa’s Future Empowerment Conference.
” The vision of AFEC is to empower African youths and prepare them for leadership so that they can take over and compete with their counterparts across the world,” he said.
Nigerians Are Loving
Explaining why he picked Nigeria as one of his choices for AFEC, Rudolf said that Nigerians are very loving and intelligent people who have a lot of potential to make their country the best in the world.
He promised to mentor and support the youths in funding part of their education and businesses.
” Nigerians are the group of the people that have no fear and can take the African continent to another level if given a conducive environment. As a way to contribute my quota in empowering some Nigerian youths, we have gone to local schools to pay for JAMB forms to support those that may not have the funds to do so.
We also gave grants to small medium enterprises to help support their businesses amongst others. We promise to keep track on everyone we are mentoring till we pass the baton to the next generation,’ he reiterated.
Take the opportunity very seriously
Some of the guest speakers at the conference including the President and Founder of the Universal Movie Awards, Hope Opara, the Chief Talent Officer of YF Talent Partners, Yemi Fasheun and a renowned musician, Daniel Okodede urged Nigerian youths to take the opportunity very seriously to enable them achieve the aim of AFEC in Nigeria.
One of the participants and winner of three hundred thousand business grants from AFEC, John Akanbi expressed his gratitude for the rare opportunity, thanking God who brought Afec to the country.
He promised to judiciously use the fund to grow his Cucumber farm business in Nigeria.
