Imo Governor Names New Directors for Renewed Hope Ambassadors

The Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has approved the appointment of 16 directors to head various directorates of the organisation as part of efforts to strengthen its operational effectiveness.

in a statement issued by the RHA’s Director of Media and Publicity, Mr Tunde Rahman, said the appointments are aimed at enhancing the structure and coordination of the initiative, which was designed to drive the dissemination of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda across Nigeria.

President Bola Tinubu had in November 2025 designated the Renewed Hope Ambassadors as a vehicle for communicating the activities and achievements of his administration to Nigerians in the build-up to the 2027 election campaign.

The organisation comprises six zonal coordinators, 37 state coordinators, and 774 local coordinators nationwide.

The RHA leadership structure includes the Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, as Deputy Director-General; the Governor of Gombe State, Mohammed Inuwa, as Secretary; and Honourable James Abiodun Faleke as Deputy Secretary.

Among those appointed as directors are Dr Mustapha Abdullahi (Youth), Chief Olisa Metuh (Organisation and Mobilisation), Tunde Rahman (Media and Publicity), Sunday Dare (Digital and New Media), Mele Kolo Geidam (Finance), Muiz Banire, SAN (Monitoring, Compliance and Legal), Bisoye Coker-Odusote (Technology and Data), and Abubakar Rabiu Abubakar (Support Groups).

Others include Ibrahim Garba (Intelligence), Senator Sani Musa (Special Duties), Hon. Simon Karu (Planning), Dr Halima Suleiman Zakari (Welfare), Dr Nnamdi Maurice Mbaeri (Administration), Bilikisu Muhammed Kaika (Women Affairs), Abike Dabiri-Erewa (Diaspora), and Hadiza Bala Usman (Research and Innovation).

The appointments take effect as part of ongoing efforts to position the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for broader national engagement.
