Zamfara State: Former Lawmaker Lauds Governorship Election Tribunal Ruling

A former lawmaker of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Hon. Bala Saleh Gamji, has lauded the the State Governirship Election Petition Tribunal for its judgement that upheld the emergence of Dauda Lawal as the governor of Zamfara State.
Gamji made the commendation while reacting to the recent judgement by the court in Sokoto State.
According to him, the judgment is significant and confirmed the will of the people and the trust bestowed on Governor Dauda of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to bring development through quality leadership.
Hon. Gamji noted that Governor Dauda’s administration would continue to bring the desired change and sustainable development, which the people of the state deserve:
“The judgement would be the beginning of more development for Zamfara State.
“I believe Dauda Lawal has every capacity to continue to uphold and serve Zamfara with equity, justice, and fairness in all his affairs.
“Therefore, people of Zamfara should continue to support his meaningful programmes and policies for the overall development of the state.”
He also reiterated their commitment to continue to support the governor in ensuring he delivers on his campaign promises.
