IGP Calls for Police, Immigration Security Collaboration

The Inspector General of Police, Olatunji Disu has stressed the need for inter-agency collaboration in the areas of National Security, Border Management, intelligence sharing, capacity building and coordinated responses to transnational crimes in the country.

The Inspector General stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service NIS, Kemi Nanna Nandap in Abuja.

Disu noted that the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigeria Immigration Service underscored the importance of synergy in safeguarding the Nation’s territorial integrity and enhancing internal security architecture.

Speaking at the event, the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Kemi Nandap appreciated the visit and reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to deepening strategic partnerships with the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies to ensure effective law enforcement, improved migration governance, and national stability.
