Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has been conferred with dual honours by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) at a ceremony held at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House, Kaduna.
Sani was inducted as a Fellow and Patron of the NIPR and also named a World Public Relations Forum Governance Ambassador, a global title endorsed by the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communications Management, which represents 126 countries.
The honours were presented during a courtesy visit led by the President and Chairman of the NIPR Governing Council, Ike Neliaku.
The delegation commended the governor’s leadership, describing it as exemplary and rooted in ethical communication and governance.
In his response, Governor Sani described the recognitions as a collective affirmation of the principles guiding his administration, including integrity, transparency and responsible public communication.
“I receive these recognitions with humility and a heightened sense of responsibility. They reaffirm my conviction that sustainable governance is anchored not only on policy direction, but on trust built through clarity, consistency and genuine engagement with citizens,” he stated.
The Governor linked his administration’s achievements in peacebuilding, infrastructure development and inclusive growth to accountability and open communication.
He commended the NIPR for its role in promoting credible narratives that strengthen institutional trust and public confidence.
Governor Sani also reaffirmed Kaduna State’s commitment to national dialogue and cohesion, particularly as the state prepares to host the 3rd NIPR Week, pledging that Kaduna would continue to project a truthful and progressive image while promoting unity and sustainable development.
The event highlights growing recognition of Sani’s leadership style, which prioritises transparency and public engagement as key pillars of governance.
