A member of the Nigerian Senate from Kogi State, Senator Sunday Karimi, has applauded President Bola Tinubu administration’s economic reforms by not engaging in reckless printing of naira notes.
He gave the assurance during a special thanksgiving service to mark the 50th birthday of the wife of the lawmaker representing Yagba Federal Constituency of Kogi state on the House of Representatives, Mr. Leke Abejide, Deaconess Esther Modupe Abejide, and their 20th wedding anniversary.
Senator Karimi, representing Kogi West Senatorial District, assures Nigerians that the current economic hardship would ease soon.
The lawmaker attributes the ongoing economic reforms to the mistakes of the past, and he is confident Nigerians will soon begin to ease a sigh of relief.

Senator Karimi, who is also the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Services, expressed optimism about Nigeria’s economic direction under President Tinubu, urging Nigerians to remain patient.
The lawmaker said that there is a renewed hope in Nigeria.
Senator Karimi dismissed opposition coalition efforts, describing the actors as “the same old politicians” with nothing new to offer the country.

” We are graduating from an economy that lacked direction. When you go about printing money, it shows a failed country. But Tinubu came in and said no. Let’s run a perfect economy. It’s not been easy, but I can promise you that we are moving to the promised land, “ Senator Karimi said.
On his part, the member representing Yagba Federal Constituency of Kogi State in the House of Representatives Mr. Leke Abejide urged Nigerian couples not to allow prevailing economic hardship to tear their families apart.
He stressed that strong marriages are built on love, understanding, and faith in God.
