Nigeria Public Relations Week 2026, tagged “Croc City 2026″, Spotlights Food Security and Strategic Communication kicked off in Kaduna.

This year’s event is being held in strategic partnership with the Kaduna State Government, north-central Nigeria.

The theme for NPRW 2026, “Nigeria’s Food Security: From Policy Paper to Public Plates – The Imperatives of Public Relations”, underscores the vital role of strategic communication in addressing food security.

The Week will explore how effective public relations can bridge the gap between policy development and tangible outcomes in food availability, affordability, and nutrition.

NIPR President Dr Ike Neliaku emphasised that NPRW has become a critical platform for fostering dialogue, collaboration, and innovation across sectors.

The forum convenes leaders from government, business, academia, civil society, and the media to exchange ideas and develop actionable strategies that support national development.

Since its rebranding in 2024, Nigeria Public Relations Week has grown into a professional gathering focused on public relations and policy communication.

Previous editions include Abeokuta (2024), which addressed economic and reputation rebuilding, and Uyo (2025), which focused on solid minerals as a pathway to economic recovery.

NPRW 2026 aims to position public relations as a key driver of public trust, policy awareness, and behavioural change, ensuring that policies translate into real impact for citizens.
