Rivers ex Deputy Speaker commends Governor’s development policy

A former Deputy Speaker House of Representatives, Chibudom Nwuche has commended the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike for his Rivers State first development policy.

Nwuche, who is also a chieftain of the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC in the state said the Governor has over the last couple of years proved that he is in politics to truly serve.

Nwuche commended Wike for the several milestone achievements he has recorded in his first and second tenure.

He said, “My Governor deserves commendation for the several bridges and flyovers he built in his determination to make Port Harcourt more attractive to investors and conducive living environment for all Rivers indigenes and all Nigerians alike.

“The quality of these jobs being done by Julius Berger attests to the sincerity of purpose, seriousness and his determination to leave a worthy legacy for future generations of Rivers State people.

“He also deserves commendation for standing by Rivers’ sons and daughters, and using his office for the good of the state and its people, and for always standing up in their defence against oppression and empowering them irrespective of political leanings, tribe or religion.”
