Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov says it is time to open discussions with the United States on Washington’s vision for future economic relations, noting that significant differences between both countries remain.
Speaking at a summit in Antalya, Lavrov said Russia is also pushing for renewed economic cooperation with the U.S.
This he said is “part of the efforts to improve diplomatic relations with President Donald Trump’s administration. “
On NATO, Lavrov described the alliance as “not in the best state,” but emphasised that Russia will not interfere in its internal affairs.
