China has expressed readiness to collaborate with African nations to mitigate the spillover effects of the ongoing Middle East conflict.
Speaking during a meeting in Beijing with Mozambique’s President, Xi Jinping said “the conflict’s broader impacts are already being felt across Africa and require a coordinated response.”

Xi emphasised that China is prepared to work closely with African countries to jointly address the challenges, promote peace, and advance shared development.
He made the remarks while hosting Mozambique’s President, Daniel Chapo, as part of ongoing diplomatic engagements aimed at strengthening China-Africa relations.
He urged China and Africa to jointly call for a ceasefire to end the hostilities and encourage the international community to “practice genuine multilateralism.
