COVID-19: Osun State Governor tasks residents on safety protocols

The Governor of Osun State in Southwest Nigeria, Adegboyega Oyetola has admonished residents not to compromise the safety protocols and guidelines against the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic
He called on residents to be wary of the adverse effects of the second wave of the virus which has caused untimely deaths across the globe,
Speaking at the special prayer to mark the ten-year anniversary of his late mother, Wulaimot Oyetola, he reminded all that the virus is still active in Nigeria and other parts of the world.
Oyetola advocated the consistent use of face masks and hand sanitisers as a panacea for safety, warning that; “The virus is of no respecter of persons regardless of status and place in the society.” he added.
