CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe, has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and to the family of the former president, Ibrahim Galadima, following his recent passing.
In a formal statement, the continental governing body recognised Galadima’s extensive contributions to the development of football, not just within Nigeria, but across the African continent.
Galadima was a titan in Nigerian sports administration. He served as President of the NFF from 2002 to 2006. His tenure as the head of Nigeria’s football governing body was marked by a fierce commitment to the integrity of the game.
Known for his principled stance on sports governance, he remained a respected figure in the football community long after his formal roles ended.
On behalf of CAF and its 54 Member Associations, Dr Motsepe also send condolences conveys to the Family of Galadima and to the People of Nigeria.
