AFCON 2027 Host Nations To Meet CAF Delegation

A senior delegation from the CAF are set to arrive in Uganda for a crucial strategic engagement, with the host nations of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

The two-day meetings, scheduled for April 22nd – 23rd in Kampala, will see CAF and the three host nations provide updates on key delivery priorities as preparations enter the next phase.

The engagement will bring together government representatives from the three countries, presidents of their respective football associations, CAF Acting General Secretary Samson Adamu.

Also, senior CAF officials across multiple departments, including competitions, commercial, broadcasting, safety and security, and finance, will be present.

The meeting marks a significant step in the coordinated planning process, with discussions expected to focus on critical areas such as infrastructure, procurement, media operations, ticketing, and overall tournament logistics.

CAF said the kick-off session reflects a shared commitment between the continental body and the PAMOJA host nations to strengthen collaboration and accelerate preparations for a successful tournament.

The organisation reaffirmed its support for the host countries in building effective coordination mechanisms and ensuring operational readiness across all aspects of competition delivery.
