Nasarawa Governor Presents Flag To APC Candidate Nasarawa/Toto Constituency 

Following the Appeal Court judgment that affirmed Hon. Muhammed Yarima Albasheer as APC candidate for Nasarawa /Toto Federal House of Representatives, the Nasarawa State Governor Engr. Abdullahi Sule has presented party flag to him ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The event which took place at the party office in Lafia was well attended by party supporters and well-wishers.

Presenting the flag to Hon. Al – Bashir, Governor Abdullahi Sule said the decision was informed as a result of the court litigation that just ended.

The Governor called on all parties involved to put their differences aside and work for the victory of the party.

Victory for democracy 

On his part, the Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Balarabe Abdullahi who described the situation as the will of God, and reflection of the people’s choice said it was a victory for democracy.

Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi commended the judgment of the Appeal Court which he said has further restored the confidence of the people in the judiciary.

Hon. Muhammed Al – Basheer promised to justify the confidence reposed in him by his people emphasizing that he will make a difference if finally elected into office.

The event had in attendance the former Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Musa Ahmed Muhammed, and former Secretary to the State Government Ahmed Aliyu Tijani among other stakeholders from the Western Senatorial Zone of the State.
