Two officers from the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) National Public Relations Unit have emerged as the overall best and Second Best Graduating Students at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College (NCCSC), Gwagwalada, following the graduation of 50 senior officers.
Chief Superintendent of Customs (CSC), Ridwan Yusuf was named the Overall Best Graduating Student, while CSC Nuruddeen Sa’idu emerged as the Second Best Graduating Student during the graduation ceremony of Senior Course 14/2026, held at the Ahmed Makarfi Hall of the College.
Representing the Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC), Adewale Adeniyi, the Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Deputy Comptroller-General of Customs (DCG) Sulaiman Chiroma, congratulated the graduating officers on successfully completing what he described as one of the Service’s most rigorous professional training programmes.

He urged the officers to uphold the core values of professionalism, discipline and integrity in the discharge of their duties.
“To whom much is given, much is expected. On behalf of the Comptroller-General of Customs, I urge you to remain mission-focused and continue to serve the nation with honesty, integrity and dedication,” he said.
Earlier, the Commandant of the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College, Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs (ACG) Duwoh Gaura, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to producing highly competent officers in line with the CGC’s vision of building a more efficient, technology-driven and professional Nigeria Customs Service.
He said the College would continue to equip officers with the knowledge, leadership skills and strategic capacity required to address the evolving challenges of customs administration and border management.
The graduation ceremony marked another milestone in the Nigeria Customs Service’s continued investment in human capacity development and institutional excellence, underscoring its commitment to strengthening leadership and operational capability across the service.
As part of activities marking the completion of the programme, the college had earlier hosted a regimental dinner attended by members of the Service Management Team, senior officers and invited guests.
