Baze University has achieved a major academic milestone after all programmes presented for the National Universities Commission (NUC) October/November 2025 Comprehensive Accreditation Exercise received full accreditation.
The achievement reflects the University’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance and the delivery of globally competitive higher education.
The programmes granted full accreditation are Human Anatomy, Mass Communication, Software Engineering, Building, Estate Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Microbiology, and Sociology and Anthropology.
The accreditation outcome highlights the University’s sustained investment in modern academic infrastructure, highly qualified faculty, innovative teaching approaches, research development and continuous curriculum improvement in line with international best practices.

Vice-Chancellor of Baze University, Professor Abiodun Adeniyi, described the outcome as a strong endorsement of the institution’s commitment to excellence. He attributed the success to the visionary leadership and unwavering support of the Board of Trustees, led by Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed.
Professor Adeniyi said the Board’s commitment has continued to strengthen the University’s drive for innovation, academic competitiveness and global relevance.
He noted that the accreditation further reinforces Baze University’s reputation as one of Nigeria’s leading private universities, dedicated to producing highly skilled graduates equipped to meet national and global workforce demands.
The University also commended the National Universities Commission for maintaining rigorous quality assurance standards across the country’s university system, while reaffirming its commitment to setting higher benchmarks in teaching, research and community service in Nigeria and beyond.
