President Tinubu Swears In New RMAFC, NPC Commissioners

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sworn in six newly appointed Federal Commissioners of the National Population Commission (NPC) and two Federal Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), following their confirmation by the National Assembly.

The inauguration took place on Monday shortly before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by the President at the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja.

First to take the Oath of Office were the two new RMAFC Federal Commissioners, Amina Ibrahim Gamawa, representing Bauchi State, and Abdullahi Mukhtar, representing Kaduna State, who were sworn in as a single batch before officially assuming office.

The six Federal Commissioners of the National Population Commission (NPC) inaugurated were Kolawole Oladipupo Alabi (Ekiti State), Nasiru Mu’azu (Zamfara State), Dr Isaka Alada Yahaya (Kwara State), Prof. Sadiq Isah Radda (Katsina State), Hon. Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo (Sokoto State), and Suleiman Umar (Jigawa State).

The swearing-in ceremonies preceded the weekly FEC meeting chaired by President Tinubu.

Present at the meeting were Vice President Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, and Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Didi Esther Walson-Jack.

Also in attendance were members of President Tinubu’s cabinet, former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani, and family members of the newly sworn-in commissioners.
