The National Chairman of the deregistered Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) Alhaji Ganiyu Galadima has formerly joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the ongoing nationwide membership registration and revalidation exercise.

Galadima, who was the ACPN presidential candidate in 2019, also asked all his members in the deregistered party to register in the ongoing registration exercise of the APC.

Announcing his defection through his Facebook page on Thursday, Galadima said he would register same day at his community, unit 010 Emir’s Palace, Magaji Ngari ward in Ilorin West LGA, of Kwara state.

“Today I will formally join the ALL Progressive Congress (APC) in my Community (unit 010 Emir’s Palace, Magaji Ngari Ward in Ilorin West LGA, Kwara State).

“I enjoined all the members of the deregistered Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN) in Kwara state and Nigeria to also join the APC to realize their political aspirations.”

The Kwara born politician declared that APC remains the only credible political platform in Nigeria.

“We identify with President Mohammadu Buhari at the center and the Developmental strides of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq in Kwara state. We fully support Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq,” he said.

In a telephone conversation with Voice of Nigeria, Galadima confirmed his defection to the APC.
