Nigeria to collaborate with technology experts to prevent explosions

Nigerian Government says it will continue to protect and control oil tanks and gas stations from explosions that cause devastation and loss of lives and properties in the country.
The Director General National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency, NOSDRA, Mr Idris Musa said this during a virtual meeting on the demonstration on explosion control technology, orgainised by the Agency in collaboration with Qcuboyds Limited based in Madrid Spain.
Mr Musa said the presentation by the Teknocontrol, was a technical presentation on how to eliminate incessant explosion and also to boost oil revenue in Nigeria.
He said all necessary registration would be done by the Nigeria partners, Qcuboyds Nigeria Limited with VOB Consult so as to take other necessary steps to get things done promptly.
Chairman of Qcuboyds limited in Nigeria, Mr Victor Bolarin called on the Ministry of Environment and NOSDRA, to take advantage of the presentation by the Teknocontrol to prevent to eradicate incessant explosions in the country.
“According to him, i hope at the end of this programme Nigeria will acquire this technology to work assiduously through NOSDRA, to stop incessant explosions in Nigeria.”
Mr Bolarin said all over the world, the technology has been approved, and urged the government to drive the technology to reduce the issue of explosion on oil and farms tanks in the country.
Qcuboyds Nigeria limited is a local content, partnering with Teknocontrol company in Spain to bring the technology to Nigeria.
The Chairman Qcuboyds Solutions USA, Mr Ron Wilfert added that the demonstration by Teknocontrol was impressive and commended the TK global engineering for explaining how their products work and how it can eliminate explosions in Nigeria.
