Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is planning on facing two former unified champions on his way back to another world title shot as Anthony Joshua is firmly in his sights.

The 37-year-old from Alabama, United States returned to the sidelines following his back-to-back knock losses to current WBC King, Tyson Fury.

He knocked out Robert Helenius in the first round.

The plan, now according to co-manager Shelly Finkel, is to set up bouts with Anthony Joshua and Ruiz Jr in that order.

“Deontay is willing to fight Anthony Joshua next,” Finkel said.

“We would take that fight in the UK or the Middle East and we will do it next.

We have the WBC eliminator with Ruiz and we will do that, but we want the Joshua fight.

Eddie Hearn said he contacted me in August, but we had the Helenius Fight.’’ He said
