The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Ahmed Bola Tinubu has promised to serve and protect Nigerians home and abroad if elected as Nigeria’s President.
Tinubu stated this during his presidential rally held at the Sani Abacha stadium, Kano state north Western Nigeria.
Thrilled by the unprecedented crowd Tinubu said he is in Kano to dance.
He, then briefly demonstrated his dancing skills as music customized for his campàign rent the air before making a brief speech.
“Today, I have come to Kano to dance. I promise I will serve you, I will serve Nigeria and protect all. I will keep my promises. Thank you,” he said.
The host Governor, Dr. Umar Ganduje of Kano State in his speech said all the variables of what will make one a president of Nigeria has been taken into consideration by the state and Tinubu poseses all of them.
“We have put into consideration the credentials of our Presidential candidate and his running mate. Tinubu is a tasted and trusted person,” he said.
He said the APC Governorship candidate in Kano state, Nasiru Gawuna poseses credible credentials for the election, as he has served as deputy governor and commissioner, so also his running mate Sule Garo, who equally served as commissioner.
“Together we provided employment for youths and women empowerment as well as infrastructural development for the people of Kano state among others,” he said.
Chairman of APC Progressive Governors Forum and Governor of Kebbi state Abubakar Atiku Bagudu said there is no friction in APC as being insinuated by some persons, stressing that “they are all together as one”
The APC National Chairman Senator Abdullahi Adamu presented the party’s flag to the Kano state Governorship candidate.
