NAHCON signs agreement with Saudi Arabia on 2023 Hajj

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in preparation for the 2023 Hajj.

NAHCON’s delegation in Saudi Arabia signed the agreement document which stated the guidelines to be adopted during the 2023 Hajj exercise.

In its attempt to ensure complete success of the 2023 Hajj operation, the Commission is carrying along all the stakeholders for synergy and effective service delivery.

In a statement, NAHCON’s Assistant Director, Information and Publications, Alhaji Mousa Ubandawaki, said other itinerary of the team during the visit included attending an Exhibition on Hajj and Umrah and meeting with the Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation, (GACA).

He said the team will also meet with Mutawif Company for Africa Non-Arab Countries and representatives of Association of Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria.

The team will also verify the accommodation providers and Inspect Caterers’ Kitchens in Makkah and Madinah.

Alhaji Ubandawaki said the Commission is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the 2023 Hajj operation is successful.

The Commission appealed to all stakeholders and the general public for cooperation.
